ABOUT.
Bertha is a working object, not a garage queen. She's kept, not collected — on a regular maintenance cadence, photographed by the people she was built to be photographed by, loaned out for the kind of work she was shaped to do.
She was born somewhere in America in 1975 — full of muscle, chic, and confident. One of the final Pontiac convertibles of the era. She's run regularly, detailed regularly, and loaned out for the work she was built to do. When you book her, she arrives to your shoot already dressed.
She is privately stewarded and does not have an agent. Bertha sits inside a longer concern with American presence — film, photography, portraiture, and occasional objects that earn a second act. "Big Bertha" is a working name. It stuck because it fit.
